The Inn of the Dog is a cage-free dog daycare and luxury dog boarding facility for canines of all sizes and breeds. Our 6000 square feet, indoor location is fully air conditioned and includes large open play areas, as well as private suites for our overnight guests. The Inn of the Dog is conveniently located in the Treasure Coast Commerce Center in Stuart. Our building can be seen from both I-95 and the Florida Turnpike (ideal for owners headed to work or the airport). Our staff is well trained and highly experienced in all aspects of dog care and behavior. We, at the Inn of the Dog, strive to provide your dog with the safest, most loving care possible. We understand that each dog has its own individual personality, preferences and needs. We do our best to handle each dog like our own making their daycare or boarding experience a positive one. The Inn of the Dog is family owned and operated. Allison Nickey, started in the dog world over ten years ago. She began as a volunteer for a rescue shelter in Pennsylvania and over the next several years worked in vet offices, grooming shops, dog boarding and show kennels. Allison managed one of the first and largest doggie daycare/boarding facilities in the state of Florida. She gained extensive knowledge and experience in a cage free group atmosphere. Noting the absence of a dog daycare facility in the Martin County, FL area, Allison was instrumental in bringing the Inn of the Dog to Stuart, Florida. Last but not least, Allison has a lifelong love affair with animals and is the proud adoptive mom to a lovable Miniature Pincher, Cody and a perro de Presa Canario, Karma. |
